Diane Rath
Principal Designer and Owner
Diane Rath doesn’t believe in neutral for neutral’s sake. As the founder of The Rath Project, she is known for designing interiors that embrace color, contrast, and character—spaces that feel collected, not decorated.
Drawing on a mix of mid-century sensibility and modern refinement, her work balances saturated palettes with clean lines and intentional material choices. Every project is rooted in how her clients live, resulting in homes that are not only visually compelling, but deeply functional.
Diane’s work has been recognized by Architectural Digest and featured in publications including Aspire Design and Home, Good Housekeeping, Martha Stewart Living, Better Homes & Gardens, HGTV Magazine, House Beautiful, and Business of Home. She is also the recipient of a CTC&G Innovation in Design Award for Best Bath Design, and an active member of AD PRO, ASID, and IDS, where she previously served as Vice President of the Connecticut chapter.
With a deliberately small studio model, Diane offers a highly tailored design experience, ensuring that every detail—from the largest architectural move to the smallest finishing touch—is thoughtfully considered—an approach shaped by her own appreciation for homes that balance beauty with the realities of daily life.
Amie Peck
Project Manager
Aime is the Project Manager at The Rath Project, and the one making sure all the moving pieces actually move—on time and on point. From early concepts to final install days, she keeps projects organized, on track, and running smoothly behind the scenes.
Equal parts detail-obsessed and solution-oriented, Aime bridges the creative vision with real-life execution. She works closely with clients, vendors, and the team to handle timelines, logistics, and all the in-between moments—so every space comes together effortlessly (even when there’s a lot happening behind the curtain)
Brianna J Denski
Design Assistant
Brianna J. Denski is the Design Assistant at The Rath Project, supporting the creative process from concept to completion. Whether she’s sourcing materials, organizing samples, or jumping into installs, she’s always in the mix helping bring each space to life.
She thrives in the behind-the-scenes moments, keeping things organized while contributing thoughtful details and creative solutions along the way. Her work helps ensure every space feels cohesive, intentional, and distinctly Rath.
Sophia-Kiriaki Taiyanides
Social Media Manager
Sophia-Kiriaki Taiyanides is the Social Media Manager at The Rath Project, where she brings the studio’s bold, design-forward voice to life online. She’s all about translating Diane’s love of color, contrast, and character into content that feels just as curated as the spaces themselves.
With a strong eye for aesthetics and storytelling, Sophia creates content that highlights the details, textures, and moments that make each project unique. From capturing the mood of a space to building a cohesive digital presence, she focuses on making The Rath Project feel both inspiring and approachable—one post at a time.
